Welcome

Welcome to the official blog of the upcoming independent film The Wisdom Tree.

About the film
Steve Hamilton, a conflicted and self‐tortured quantum physicist faces the battle of his life when a mysterious car accident reveals a strange growth in his brain. If he along with FBI agent Mike Parker and neurologist Dr. Trisha Rao, can read the clues provided through science as well as art, music, and mysticism, they may save not only Steve but all of humankind. The Wisdom Tree is a tale of human emotions, fears and desires constructed around a classic, crowd ‐ pleasing drama with both sci‐fi and New Age elements. This captivating and gripping mystery binds science (physics and neurology), art (painting and classical music) and mysticism suggesting that the universe is multi‐dimensional, strange, harmonic, and that ‐ as Eastern spiritual traditions have long maintained — "All is one."

Background
The original screenplay is written after researching hundreds of books, journals and research papers on various disciplines the film deals with. Though an independent film, because of the subject, story and treatment - we have been able to attract award‐winning filmmakers and advisors with years of experience in cinematography, music, visual effects, production design and marketing. Their films have screened at prestigious film festivals and received numerous awards including Oscars and Oscar nominations.

In addition, many passionate and dedicated film enthusiasts are spending countless late nights leaving no stone unturned to create an exceptionally high quality film. At this point we are in the middle of a very hectic pre-production phase. Though narrating a story which deals with diverse disciplines throws many challenges, it also opens great creative opportunities. Passion is the only tool available to independent filmmakers to stand a chance against the studio backed films and fortunately passion is what we have in abudance. Last but not the least - no creative endeavor is possible without investors and well wishers. We truly thank all those who have believed in this ambitious project and extended their support, time and energy. THANK YOU.
